Biopratiq Ltd is a UK registered Enterprise (Company No. 17144981, Registered Office: 61 Bridge Street, Kington, United Kingdom, HR5 3DJ). We are the data controller for personal data collected through our website at biopratiq.com and through the SkinWise product and beta programme.

Our contact email for data protection matters is contact@biopratiq.com. We do not currently have a statutory obligation to appoint a Data Protection Officer, but we take data protection seriously and designate a responsible person internally for all privacy matters.

Data We Collect

We collect personal data in the following contexts:

• Beta programme sign-ups. When you submit your email address via the SkinWise early access form, we collect your email address and the date and time of submission.
• Email correspondence. If you contact us directly by email, we collect the contents of your message and any personal data you choose to include.
• Website usage data. We may collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referral source for the purpose of maintaining and improving our website. This data is not linked to any individual without your consent.
• Research and clinical data (future). If you participate in any clinical validation or research activity, a separate data processing agreement and informed consent process will apply. No clinical data is collected through this website.

We do not collect any special category data (health, biometric, or genetic data) through this website. We do not use third-party advertising networks. We do not sell personal data.

How We Use Your Data

We use the personal data we collect only for the purposes for which it was provided:

• To send you updates about the SkinWise beta programme, including your access invitation when it becomes available.
• To respond to enquiries and correspondence you send to us.
• To maintain the security and performance of our website.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We will never use your email address to send marketing unrelated to Biopratiq or SkinWise, and we will never pass it to a third party for their own marketing purposes.

Legal Basis for Processing

• Consent. When you submit your email address to join the beta programme, you are consenting to us contacting you with relevant updates. You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing us.

• Service providers. We use Netlify to host this website and process form submissions. Netlify acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by appropriate data processing terms. You can review Netlify's privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.

• Business transfer. In the unlikely event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, personal data may be transferred to the relevant parties, subject to the same privacy protections.

Data Retention

We retain your email address for the duration of the SkinWise beta programme and for a reasonable period thereafter unless you request deletion. Email correspondence is retained for up to 2 years unless there is a legal or contractual reason to retain it longer.

Website technical data is typically retained for no more than 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time — see Section 7.

Under UK GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

• Right to rectification. You may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

This website uses only essential technical cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics that identify you individually.

Netlify, our hosting provider, may set cookies necessary for form submission and site delivery. These are functional cookies and do not track your behaviour across other websites.

You may configure your browser to refuse cookies, though this may affect the functionality of some site features such as form submission.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against accidental loss, unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. Our website is served over HTTPS. Form data is transmitted securely to Netlify's infrastructure.
